I have predominantly worked with adolescents and adults from a wide variety of communities. In the past I have experience working as a behavioral interventionist treating children who have developmental disorders and my work with the film industry provides a unique and creative perspective to our space. My treatment focuses are clients experiencing depression, anxiety, college/career choices, cultural stressors, relational stress, and major life adjustments. With my clients, I like to process their past and explore what narratives and core beliefs that have been created along the way. Once we can have a better understanding of where we come from, we can utilize shadow work to help better understand how we can be graceful with ourselves. I am a strong believer that developing a healthy framework surrounding our intentions, integrity, built on a foundation of forgiveness will lead us to be more mindful and compassionate within ourselves and the world around us.

Being an affective rapport builder while using a client centered approach, I allow the client to feel welcomed as they are and feel listened to. I understand how difficult the journey of battling mental health can be and would never want anyone to feel alone on the journey. Addressing mental health can be a daunting process however I do everything I can to make our experience engaging, relaxed, enjoyable.

It is important to have a therapist who can navigate the complexity of carrying on cultural traditions and expectations in a western context. I would love to work with all folks to provide them with mental health services that are sensitive to their upbringing. It’s rewarding to see our clients make strides and develop the launching pad they need to build a more promising future. I look forward to our journey together.
