I have 20 years of experience working in different settings (Outpatient Clinics, Inpatient Hospitals, and Private Practice) working with a variety of diagnosis and age groups.  I have had 16 years of experience at San Bernardino County Mental Health.  In this length of time I have worked with the severely mentally ill population, ranging in age from (3 – 65  years).  I have worked with minors (ages 3-17 years) ranging in diagnois from: opppositional defiant disorder , conduct disorder, anxiety, depression, and  schizophrenia.   I have also had over 10 years of psychiatric inpatient experience with the adult , adolescent, and children population.  I use an eclectic approach in treating my clients.  These range from psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral theory, client centered, trauma focused, and family centered approach.  I have spent many years working with the dual diagnosis clients using Transtheoretical Model and Motivational Interviewing.
