My time at Elevation Behavioral Health was overall pretty good. There have been some bumps in the road, but those bumps have been resolved and I can confidently say that my stay here at EBH was worth it. I learned skills in the residential program that I can take with me and hold onto for the rest of my life. I had extreme anxiety when I came in and now I still have anxiety, but I have developed skills and learned tools to help me cope with it and even relieve it at times. I never had that before I came here. I appreciate the techs here so much and all of them are great in their own ways, but specifically I really wanted to recognize how amazing Zach, C. Joe, Chelsea, Nicole, and Tim are. Chelsea and Zach go above and beyond to make sure everyone is okay. They work so hard. They are superhuman in their ability to create a fun but safe environment for us as clients. C. Joe is so down to earth and relatable. He is one of the techs I opened up to the most. Nicole is so genuine and sweet, and I really love when she is working. She is one of the best listeners. Tim is the nicest and most kind tech ever. He always makes sure we feel comfortable and valued. I appreciate each and every one of the techs that work at EBH. The therapists who work at the residential program are very good. Megan is the kind of therapist who will challenge you no matter what. She is down to earth and great at her job. She changes people’s lives. Katelyn is the kindest therapist I have ever met. She is patient and gentle in her approach and gets through to us in ways that touched my soul. Mike and Melissa are angels who deserve awards. They have both helped me work towards resolving and processing some very traumatic events in my life. I will forever be grateful to them. Pretty much everyone who works here is kind, empathetic, and motivating. They want to see you/us succeed. Alicia in admissions has been such a helpful person to me. She is kind, generous and humble. She genuinely wants us to feel like we are important. Hannah (Case Manager) is awesome and has helped me SO much with paperwork and submitting things to work. She has been an advocate for me in times where I felt alone and she has been a great support. She is so kind. (And her dog Odie is so cute- he doesn’t come, but I see pictures). I am very thankful for everyone at Elevation who has helped me on my journey to recovering from my mental health issues. I am going to be walking out in a much better place than when I came here. So, Elevation: thank you. Thank you for supporting me through these challenging times, and thank you for understanding.
Shoshanna W.
Elevation is a safe haven to create hope and tools towards a better life. Thank you to the staff for being exactly what I needed on my recovery journey.
A special thank you to my case manager Hannah for truly playing a part in saving my life!!! The therapist I had went above and beyond to help me create safety and to this day I still build on the foundations we laid.
If you are considering services here, it may just be the best gift you could receive.

This was my first time at a place like this. I came in nervous and scared for something unknown, but this place exceeded any expectations I could’ve had. I was here for two and a half months and I’m feeling so different from when I came in. Alicia is beyond amazing and so sweet! She makes the admissions process so easy and is there for you whether you have a question or are having a hard time. I spent a month at RTC and the therapist Megan is easily one of the best therapists I’ve ever had. She’s so sweet, but will push you to see your full potential. The techs at each house are great and always there for you when you need someone to talk to. If you go to RTC, the chef Alicia is amazing. The food is healthy and it’s always something new to try. Hannah is simply the best! She’s so easy to talk to and so helpful with getting paperwork done. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that is struggling. :)

My stay at elevation began after incredibly traumatizing events in my life made it difficult for me to function at a normal level without experiencing flashbacks. To start, the facility is as beautiful as advertised in terms of the look and feel of the main house. It is expansive and accommodations and amenities are exactly as described by the owners and staff.
Moving on from the superficial to the more substantial as it pertains to mental health, the main reason for my stay at Elevation, the therapy staff are awesome and I felt an instant connection to my main therapist Jarred (soon to be Dr. Trusty), who I would highly recommend to see if he is still at the facility after my stay is over or even if he is working elsewhere. The technicians are friendly and I have become close personal friends with most if not all of them as well as the main chef Richard who is a lovely conversation regardless of what the topic may be. Even the maid Maria is sweet! The owners are cool, respectful, and understanding of your particular story, and the clinical director definitely knows what she is doing in relation to accepting clients.
The vibrations at the facility are of acceptance and understanding regardless of what you are there for because it is a dual diagnosis facility and the client/ resident/ patient base is incredibly diverse. I have made a lot of friends since being at Elevation and it seems like I am able to make a positive connection to every client that walks through the front doors which is a clear indication that the admissions staff members know what they are doing.
In terms of the actual therapy, the main branch of modern clinical psychology utilized is a Holistic-centered Humanistic approach that focuses on individuality, creativity, and self expression. However, this is not to say that medications and modern psychiatry are not utilized to properly treat and manage patients as well. I think the clinicians at Elevation strike the perfect balance and the mix of philosophies and ideas resonated well with me and I have been able to find a great deal of healing here.
I have never cried in front of other people before I came here and it was an incredibly liberating feeling. If you are in a similar situation, Elevation is a great option and they will treat you well regardless of your particular situation.

Elevation BH was a thoroughly cathartic and helpful experience to me. The therapists, groups, and staff were amazing and really invested in my mental health transformation. The backdrop of the beautiful Agoura Hills and stunning houses were added perks. The techs were also invested in my journey and did everything they could to make me comfortable socially and to feel at home in the house. They even took walks and did workouts with me to expend my extra energy during quarantine. Highlights were Shayna, Chelsea, and CJoe. Additionally, I had a strong relationship with Case Manager Hannah who continually advocated for me and made me feel that someone was always looking out for my recovery and best interests. These individuals were always there to talk and encouraged me to do the emotional work even when it was difficult. The company handled quarantine with grace. Recommendation there would be to get a more sophisticated technology set up for telehealth and always have techs comfortable with it on duty in the mornings. I would also recommend potential newcomers call their insurance themselves before coming to 100 percent ensure they have the coverage that Elevation’s team claims that they’ve secured. Don’t fly out on the premises of coverage when you haven’t done your due diligence. Overall, I would recommend this service to anyone who needs to 360 their life and need radical measures to do so.

This place saved my life! And it wasn’t the tennis court or heated pool, or even all that amazing food. It was the people who brought me back to life…
Monica: she’s truly special and her ability to lead, manage, AND unquestionably motivate, encourage, care at the same time is something I watched with awe every single day. I learned so much from her, and I don’t think she even knows it.
Esteban: so empathetic and hard working, his ethic and love for his job is so admirable. In my humble opinion, his passion for helping others is an immeasurable gift.
Dr. Sandor: it wasn’t ever just about meds when we would meet. I felt like he believed in me and I am committed to making that belief worthwhile.
Jarred (my therapist): well, there simply are not enough words. He is the most contagious part of Elevations, and in the most amazing way. I am not certain of many things, but I do know that I am forever changed for the better because of him. Half of the time it wasn’t even what he said in our 1:1 sessions, it was how he led by example outside of them. I am a firm believer that you inspire most in the moments that you think people are not looking. Both in and out of the session, the examples I can list are endless, so I will say this: I am not just inspired to be the version of myself I didn’t know existed- but I know I left stronger AND lighter. I am a heck of a lot more prepared for the world (and where I belong in it) because of Jarred pushing me in his super power way (it’s scary how good he is sometimes). I consider myself very fortunate and also in a great amount of debt to him. Put quite simply, he saved me by teaching me how to save myself. These are just a few words, though I am sure I do him zero justice. Who knew I would love it at Elevations? My last day was harder than my first night. I was always awful at meditation, but maybe I’ll try visualizing being back when the world stopped for 45 days and I finally got to know (and maybe even love) myself. I recommend this place!

Are you ready to work on you?!? Great!! Elevation is, indeed, for you.
The experience. Plan to dig deep and work hard. Then plan to relax, exhale, and eat well. It’s a perfect balance. How do you ever express enough gratitude to the folks at Elevation for believing in you and helping you learn all you can to enrich your life – bumps, bruises, and all.
The staff. I found these folks to be your biggest cheerleaders. They want you to do well. They go out of their way to provide a warm and supportive environment. They are respectful and protect their clientele to ensure the environment is one that is safe and free of negative distractions. Nothing and no one is perfect, but they strive very hard to provide 5 star treatment. And they don’t miss that mark by much.
The housing. Housing is gorgeous and exquisite. The environment provides the opportunity to exhale and enjoy while you work to heal. The homes are clean and comfortable. I felt pampered my entire stay.
The therapy. Life-changing. Nothing more to add here. Life-changing. Thankful for ALL I learned in a very safe, respectful environment. They care.
The food. I have so many ideas to take home with me. The food is so tasty. Every time. I mean you that!
Grateful beyond words for Elevation. My life will never be the same.
Shelly W.
This place is amazing to regain balance in your life! I had the most amazing therapist here. The food is unbeatable! The group sessions and private counseling were both very helpful. Craig and Megan made my time here worth being away from home. There was the opportunity for EMDR, massage, neurofeedback and yoga. I have a lot to compare this mental health facility to and this is top of my list. They are patient, caring, and thorough. It doesn’t matter what you are here for, they WILL and CAN help.
Trina D.
Elevations is the best mental health treatment organization available. Look no further if you want to receive the best mental health care available in the most beautiful setting. I am grateful my insurance covered most of my stay.I have received residential, partial hospitalization, and outpatient treatment at Elevations over a period of three months. It has been the best three month investment in my mental health ever. Owner Dr. Chaudhri cares deeply about the programs and getting things right. The dedicated technicians make sure that you are always safe and your needs are met. The therapists are dedicated and exceptional in their treatment of complex mental health diagnoses (BiPolar, depression, PTSD, OCD, anxiety.) The management team at Elevations has a hands-on approach. The team of Kaitie the Operations Manager, Stephanie the Program Director, and Ian the Clinical Director did an exceptional job every day to make sure my needs were met. Hannah the case manager is a light to guide you through daily challenges. Chef Alicia is amazing and focused on the foods that are going to help you heal and change your life. Be prepared to leave the unhealthy junk food behind. She has changed the way I view food and how I eat. I am so grateful I found Elevations and made a commitment to deal with lifelong mental health challenges. The list of people to thank is long and I can’t name them all. I’m afraid I would leave someone out. The services I received and I encourage people to get are: EMDR, Nuerofeedback, massage, life coaching, nutrition consultation, meditation, acupuncture, and yoga. The journey is hard work but being in such a beautiful place with highly qualified and compassionate people makes it easier. I know no matter what I may need in the future Elevation Behavioral Health will be there. Thank you Elevations for changing my life. I am forever grateful.
Lauren S.
My time at Elevations started out a little rocky when they misplaced me in the outpatient house initially, however, they really turned it around when they placed me in the correct residential house. I appreciate the staff here so much for all they have done for me. I feel so much better since coming to EBH and I am glad I stuck it out and let the process flow. Thank you Elevations for changing my life! The techs are amazing and Truly love all the techs, especially Matt ,Cjoe, Zack ,Kevin, Tim The upper manager really pulled through and the case manager Hanna has the biggest heart. Also the therapist in here is the best I had over 20 years , Megan the therapist is changing my life. There is no other place to go but Elevations! Also the chef Alicia is great. She makes everything healthy and amazing ! She is also a great asset to the clients because she generally shows us live everyday! Also the nurse here milena is wonderful and thorough and really cares about each patient. She listens and gets the job done!

This place went above and beyond my expectations. I checked myself in with minimal hope of having any type of future and left feeling as though I could one day conquer the world. The staff is unparalleled across the board. I arrived in horrible shape on a Thursday evening and was greeted by Joe, the glue of the tech staff, and felt immediate relief and comfort. From then on things just kept getting better and better. Hannah, my case worker, tackled my every concern head on and minimized my level of anxiety almost as soon as I heard her welcoming tone.
Having been diagnosed with bipolar 1 nearly twenty years ago I’ve seen a plethora of psychiatrists though none rival that of Dr. Mark Jaffe who is the primary psychiatrist. He treated my individual case and needs with extensive knowledge and empathy and was able to stabilize my medications and mood in a very short time. Jessica was my primary therapist, again she’s one of the best I’ve ever worked with and an amazing person as well. Blake, the director of operations is another solid player who’ll go out of his way to do anything for his clients without passing a glance of judgement. In addition Ashley is an amazing person, therapist and director as well.
This isn’t your classic treatment center. Prior to arrival be prepared to dive into the depths of your underlying issues with no reservations. This is as individualized as it gets. I couldn’t urge you enough to consider working with Elevation in the process of achieving the greatness you deserve.
Danea S.
So prior to arriving at Elevations I was at a local IOP program. It was terrible so I was incredibly nervous but knew due to the stress caused by that IOP I truly needed a higher level of care.
So let’s start with the house. It’s beautiful and the view is incredible. You also have access to an amazing infinity pool and hot tub. I was lucky enough to get a private room with a sliding glass door to the back yard.
Next we have the admissions process. I spoke to Priya 3 days before I began my journey to SoCal. A lot of other facilities wouldn’t take me due to some of the medications that are necessary for me because of my various health issues. Priya assured me that they would make this program work for me and so far they have. No meds have been taken away and nothing added without consulting my PCP, Rheumatologist and my Psychiatrist I work with at home. So Saturday we loaded up and my husband and I drove down to Agoura Hills. He helped me settle in and then he headed home. This day consisted of A LOT of paperwork and just getting settled in. I have to say this day was made much easier for me by the friendly techs that truly care about the residents here. I know Isabell was here my first day but I can’t think of who else was here that day (sorry guys but you know I love you ALL. Monica,Meagan, Trista, Rachel,Matt, Harold,Brian, and Allison you’re all amazing and I couldn’t have done this without you.)
The administrative staff was just as great. Blake the Operations manager even came in Sunday on his day off to be sure we were all able to go on our beach outing. These off-site adventures are usually organized by Hannah, the therapists (mine is Jarred and he’s a badass just an fyi), and Ashley. (I am not sure what Ashley’s job title is but she’s incredible, she truly cares and she keeps everyone here in check. She is the head honcho!) Hannah and Max (case manager and administrative manager) are always there to support, help and encourage you on your wellness journey. Everyone here deserves a massive raise, including Richard the incredible chef and nutritionist. They all really care about what’s best for you.
I am at 21 days tomorrow and my insurance wanted to cut me off and have me go to a lower level of care. Everyone banded together and fought like hell Dr. Sandor (the psychiatrist), Jarred and Priya put together a strong case and fought hard. Aetna tried to delay several times but ultimately Priya fought during the Doc to Doc and we won. So I am happily a resident until next Friday at a minimum.
Not only is the staff amazing but I have made friends for life with other residents. It’s great to meet people who truly understand what you’re going through. My time here will be coming to an end in a few weeks but I am so happy I found this place. Right when I was going to give up on someone taking me on, I talked to Priya and it changed my life.
Edit: I totally forgot to mention Maria who keeps this house spotless! She’s so wonderful and kind!
Nicole E.
I was involved in Elevations’ programs from residential treatment to IOP for a period of more than 90 days. I cannot say enough good things about the program and the staff there. I have so much more awareness now of my disorders and so many more skills to combat my old behaviors with. The facilities at Elevations are top-notch, with no amenity spared. I’ve missed the program, the clinical team, the techs, and the other residents dearly since I departed, but I am better enough now that I am able to manage my own life for the first time in a long time. There are so few places that really treat people with primary mental health disorders effectively, usually people get shunted into “dual diagnosis” programs where they are surrounded by other clients with problems very different for them and given treatments which in many ways are not applicable to them. I handpicked treatment programs from around the country over a period of days before deciding to go with Elevations, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. If you or a loved one is looking for treatment for a mental health or substance abuse disorder, I cannot recommend Elevations Behavioral Health enough.
Janiqua W.
I can’t imagine a “rehab”, in addition to their main area of expertise of behavioral health, better than Elevation – in the entire Los Angeles County or beyond. They are currently located in Sherman Oaks – two large homes – max 6 in one of two houses and perhaps 6 in the other house. Their two homes, in Agoura Hills, were burned to the ground in the fires. This rather amazing team kept their clients safe and sane and were able to relocate their clients from fire to hotel rooms to two new beautiful homes in Sherman Oaks. I only stayed seven nights. Most clients stay longer. This is the place to go if you feel like you’ve been hanging on to a thread forever.

Elevation BH came through for my family during an incredibly stressful time. Unlike many of their competitors, EBH is genuinely in the business of helping people. The staff were compassionate, knowledgeable and thorough every step of the way. Thank you, Priya, Bobby, Jade, Blake, Kristen, Baylee (sp) and everyone for your dedication. Elevations has two beautiful houses and the food is great — something you definitely cannot say about most… I seriously can’t recommend them enough.
Brook H.
Bobby Kale at Elevation was absolutely amazing! He kept in contact with me and was persistent in making sure I was making the right decisions for myself in coming to treatment. Bobby stayed in touch with me during my entire treatment at Elevation (Im recovering from a 8 year Heroin-IV use) and then made sure I was going to a wonderful, healthy, step down environment afterwards. My entire stay was wonderful and it all started with Bobby never giving up on me.
Jenelle H.
Elevation Behavioral Health Center is a fantastic place. Everyone on the staff is amazing and they genuinely care about you. Jarred Trusty is the best therapist I’ve ever had! And he’s a kick ass artist; I love his groups and he’s always available to talk, he is incredibly empathetic and even when he’s not here and you need him, he will make time to help you over the phone, which he has done many times for me. I am so glad and incredibly blessed to have had him as my therapist. Chef Richard cooks the most delicious food everyday, and he’s also a badass rockstar! Meagan, Harold, Matt, Trista, Jonni, Bryan, Rachael, and Monica are great techs and are always there when you need them! Hannah the case manager is a wonderful person, who’s so sweet and caring and will go out of her way to help you with whatever you need! She personally got me a balloon to release to help me heal/grieve the loss of my baby. She also has really awesome groups! And Ashley, the clinical director may be a little intimidating at first, but she is a sweetheart who will help you with whatever you need! And Blake, the operations manager is the coolest person you could hope to meet, and he also lives nearby and will be here as fast as he can for whatever you need! And last, but not least, I’d like to thank Dr. Priya, the owner, for letting me stay here and have one of the best experiences of my life! I have grown so much and gotten so much better at being able to manage my mental issues. But, it’s all thanks to the amazing staff here at Elevation. I’m so grateful for this experience, and for getting to form strong bonds with not only the staff, but the other residents as well! I’d also like to add that they have a beautiful infinity pool and hot tub, and a very calming koi pond with a waterfall, not to mention a gorgeous view of Agoura Hills, and you can also see Charlie Sheen’s yellow mansion in the distance. The rooms are so nice. And I’d personally like to thank Maria, the housekeeper for doing an amazing job at keeping this place so clean and beautiful! She is so sweet and polite. I highly recommend Elevation Behavioral Health to anyone who is struggling with any kind of mental/behavioral problems. Everyone here will do their absolute best to help you get to a better, more manageable place so that you can be the best version of yourself! :)
Brittany R.
All I can say is this place is awesome. The staff here truly cares about your well-being and making progress. They are there to help you in any way that they can. It is a very peaceful location with lots to do including my favorite tennis. Highly recommend coming here to get help.
Marla S.
I was at Elevations behavioral health in October and March of this year. I have trichotillomania, anxiety, and depression. I came back a second time because I needed a little more of the caring help I received while there. The staff quickly made me feel at home and were always there to talk to or to hug. From the techs,(my favorite is Megan) although they are all wonderful and caring, to the chefs Wendy, and peter, elevations really cares about who they hire. That’s so important. Most of all, my therapist Jarred was the biggest reason I wanted to come back. I don’t think I will ever find a therapist as caring as Jarred. The way he talks to you and makes you feel important is a very special trait. I saw the way he was with everyone, not just me, and I believe he is the best thing to ever happen at elevations. He challenged me to not pull my hair, and I didn’t. He made me laugh when I wanted to cry. His support just makes you feel like you are someone special and not a failure. He brings out the good in you. And he is just plain funny, and nice. Thank you to everyone at the elevations . Thank you Jared from the bottom of my heart. If you need help. This is a wonderful place to go. Marla senior

I am currently at Elevations and have been here for about two weeks. The location is beautiful and the staff have been both friendly and professional. Hannah, my caseworker, has been exceptional and she has helped me with my employment issues, disability, doctor appointments, etc. enabling me to focus on my recovery. It’s difficult to actually review the individual and group therapy because of the nature of therapy but I can say that the therapist here seems to have genuine care for their clients well-being. I appreciate that I have already started talking about an exit plan and my aftercare instead of waiting until the last minute. I plan on being here another two weeks. Let’s hope the next two weeks are as good as the first.
Hannah S.
I am a new patient here. I must say that the admission process before I got here was very smooth and Minnie felt comfortable before even arriving. Even when stepping in the doors I felt welcomed. I am very hopeful for my treatment here.
Heather A.
Elevations have been fundamental in my recovery process. I have the utmost respect and gratitude for the incredible program and staff who have gone above and beyond for me and my family countless times. Dr. Marisa Sisk and Bobby Kane are two of the most amazing individuals I’ve ever met and I wouldn’t be where I am today without them. They have been crucial in my success at Elevations. This program is uniquely designed to meet the myriad of needs depending on the individual. I walked through the doors broken, hopeless, lost and with the love and guidance of Elevations I am now healthier than ever. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for stability, support and hope for a healthier life.
Suzy B.
I was saved by Bobby Kane who works for Elevation Behavioral Health after being kicked out of my previous rehab for relapsing. A member of the staff there knew him to be a great guy and called him. He was able to check my benefits, he stayed late and picked me up that night when I had no place to go and got me admitted into Elevations that same night seamlessly. I had no idea what to expect. Bobby immediately treated me with dignity and respect while also treating me like a friend. The staff at Elevations was professional and welcoming. I got amazing therapy and peace and quiet and time away from the stress of life. There is lots of one-on-one attention and anonymity. The chef TJ is also amazing. Everyone should take a time out and visit this place just to recharge. I consider the staff there to be lifelong friends now as they have greatly helped me in the month I was there and I plan to come back to visit to thank them.
Monique M.
Bobby Kane and all the staff at Elevations have been a fundamental part of my son’s recovery. When my son stumbled and fell they were there to catch him and provide support along the way. The program at Elevations is not a cookie cutter program like so many others. I would recommend Elevations above all others.
Andrew J.
I haven’t been to a mental health facility before and was nervous about going. I felt very welcomed by staff and therapists.
Janell B.
My experience with Elevations was amazing. They went the extra mile for me. The food was amazing. The staff was supportive and sympathetic. I would definitely recommend it. Like any care treatment modality, you get out of it what you are willing to put into it.
The program provides a focus and structured environment that is conducive to lifelong changes; if you are willing to put in the work. – Ultimately, I would advise, Do your homework. Know what you need. This is not a lockdown facility for people who need a higher level of care. This is a place of nurturing comfort, support with some medical supervision for those on a journey of healing.
Jordan M.
Elevation was my first experience with treatment.
While I connected with a number of the staff, the person who helped me most was my therapist. Jarred.
Jarred was patient during my first week or so when I barely talked. He introduced me to painting as an outlet, and it’s something I still do. He made himself available to me so I could reach him while he was on the clock and off if it. This man made my best interests his priority. Even if that put him at odds with other staff members.
Having someone so strongly in my corner brought me a level of comfort that I didn’t think I would be able to have as an inpatient.
Mike R.
I want to thank the doctors, therapists and staff at Elevation Behavioral Health for bringing my son back to me!
My son had a serious psychotic break last year and several health professionals said that he may not recover from it, which was heartbreaking.
When he started at Elevation, he was incoherent, seeing and hearing things that were not there. We had lost our intelligent, driven son who was an engineering student at a prominent university. Over the months that he was undergoing treatment at Elevation, our “old” son reemerged. He became more lucid and has regained his footing.
He still has a long journey ahead, but the staff at Elevation helped him recover and we cannot thank them enough. The staff is caring, thoughtful and they take the time to educate my wife and I about our son’s illness and what we can do to help him live his best life, which is comforting when you are going through such a heart wrenching life experience.
If you and your family are struggling with mental health issues and you are looking for people that you can trust with your loved one’s life, I would look no further than Elevation. Their staff and facilities are top notch.
Thanks to everyone at Elevation. God bless you all.
Camille S.
I had never gotten help for my mental health before Elevations, so I was nervous about the quality of care I was going to get. But Elevations exceeded all of my expectations.
Wendy and Alicia welcomed me and helped me check in on my first day. They made the transition smooth and answered all of my stupid questions.
The therapists, specifically Tyler and Ian, had great group sessions that left you feeling hopeful and that I can live again after living through trauma. There were also people that helped me tremendously when I wasn’t in a session. Though they aren’t therapists, they probably had the most impact on me. First, was the case manager, Hannah. She is a real one and let me pop into her office to talk about random things on my heart. She is good at what she does and treats everybody with respect. The techs were also always there to hear my anxious heart, or just what me and Hannah talked about that day. Every time I was anxious or depressed, they told me I was going to be okay. Nicole, Shannon, Cjoe, Cheyenne, Sheyna and Andrew were some of the ones who always had my back.
This place helped me to get out and live again!

I can’t say enough good things about EBH. Everyday I was taught valuable life skills and tools to help me succeed, and I’m happy to report that I am! Craig and Megan passionately care about helping you and are a wealth of knowledge. The entire staff are compassionate. I highly recommend EBH.
Mariah C.
This was the best place for me to go and I appreciate their help more than any other place I have been. The staff is great and the whole Experience was wonderful for me. They took care of me and nursed me.
David K.
Elevations have helped my family through tough times by taking care of my boy. The family therapy is so helpful and I do see the progress within these sessions and awareness of things I had no clue about. When family struggles with mental health you do not know how to help them is the worst feeling. I am grateful to Elevations for helping my family and giving us a better understanding of mental health and how to overcome some of the hardest obstacles. I thank Elevations for showing us there is hope, solutions and answers.
Heather B.
Elevation has an amazing staff that really cares for their patients. The treatment I have received from therapy has helped me recover from severe grief and depression. They even helped me manage my severe anxiety.
The home is a home of support and amazing food. The chef is kind and supportive as well. Everyone is there to help you through whatever brought you here.
I would recommend Elevation Behavioral Health to anyone seeking treatment.
Kristen H.
I am so blessed to have found this amazing program! It truly turned my life around! I love all the techs, especially Katie, she really went above and beyond! They have been so helpful and supportive while I’ve been on my road to recovery. I appreciate all the things they’ve done for me and my family! Ian was my therapist and I wouldn’t have been able to do it without him. He had my back through it all and I’ll be eternally grateful for that. THANK YOU ELEVATION!

This place is a godsend. Never have I got as much healing as I have here. I learned so much about my diagnosis and became so much stronger. The staff is great. But my hat goes off to their therapist Jarred trusty he is by far the best therapist i have ever met and am so lucky to have worked with him

My stay at Elevations, Malibu, was one of the greatest experiences of my life. I came in broken and full of anxiety. I believed nothing or nobody could help me. The minute I walked through the door I was greeted with an incredible amount of warmth and love. To start off I have to just say, the staff members are INCREDIBLE! Hannah, Joe, Blake, Jonni, Jessica, Mike, Matt, Max, Baylee, Morgan and Casey are the kindest people you could possibly meet. They all go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable and happy as can be. I am so fortunate to have met all these incredible people. They took care of me like family.
When I first walked into the Malibu house I was stunned at how pretty it was. It isn’t daunting to walk into. It’s cozy and comfortable. The bedrooms are super nice and the beds are so amaaazing.
To be honest, this place saved my life and I could go on for hours about how wonderful it was. When my time came to an end I cried my eyes out. Elevations Malibu had become my home. I didn’t want to leave. I couldn’t believe how much I loved it. I’ve been back home for a week now and I miss the staff members so badly I want to come back :P
I am truly blessed to have had the opportunity to come here. So for anyone looking at places to check in, come here. You will be safe and so loved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love this place and the staff so much. You guys will be in my heart forever. Thank you for saving my life.

A juggernaut in mental health–what the world of mental health aspires toward. Leading edge in all facets.

My son received loving care, help and hope at this amazing place! After decades of despair, Joe, Jessica, Ashley, Hannah and Dr. Jaffe shared their positive techniques on him. He finally feels hopeful, has goals and is ready to actually begin LIVING. To say Thank You seems so small in the whole scheme of things. But, I will say Thank You and forever be thankful for you and your facility.

Elevation is a life saving wellness retreat for your mind and body. Please, for your sake, and those that love you trust this (rare)JCAHO certified facility to get your life back on track. Mental health and / or addiction treatments really helped those patients attending with me in miraculous ways. I saw empty shells bloom again… Give Elevation a chance, PARTICIPATE in the full treatment and you too can feel whole again. Solid clinical as well as alternative treatment modalities were used. I am a healthcare professional as well as a patient and have much to compare this to. Hope is all around the place!
The staff is amazing. Hannah (case worker)and Blake ( gen manager?)get you settled in with comfort, kindness and tolerance! Hannah’s smile and bubbliness makes your day easier! While a patient you may get a bit frustrated with the restrictions. However, the staff enforces them with practicality and the safety of all in mind. Thank you Monica- a worker queen bee that cares with her whole heart! Luv also Herold, Rashida,Chris,Jonie, Harry, Brian and all the techs. Blake will be your before, during and after care problem solver. He is so dedicated to mental health care, from the inside out. His attitude comes from having been there. Trust him, his word is golden.
My biggest complaint? This place does not make itself known outside of the Malibu area treatment centers enough, and there was a strange shortage of Kleenex and bottled water around the house.
I never knew these places existed until just before my stay. Because of JCAHO cert, and Elevations’ excellent reputation my insurance covered my stay without too much of a fight. Recertification weekly is a pain, mostly done behind the scenes, but how it’s done in the insurance world. I was really impressed with how much the staff kept me informed. All the staff helped provide needed documentation so I could stay for the time I needed. They advocate for you as much as is necessary!
New chef is amazing with extensive nutrition knowledge; his delicious gourmet meals prepared with wellness in mind- and nearly every dietary or food request satisfied. Just encourage him to use more spices! His nutrition lessons ( believe it or not) were a favorite amongst the patients. Concerns: there was a strange limitation on availability of Gatorade and yogurt until just before I left. Drinks in general need to be more plentiful. There is a large water cooler near the med station, but much more water in small bottles is needed in general, especially for those detoxing. Not the chef’s limitation- a weird house rule. Overall though food quality has been excellent since the chef was hired. Was a bit of a food desert between chefs-a rare situation as I understand it-the takeout got old and repetitive for about a week or two. Either way you are unlikely to get hungry.
The best part of my stay besides the sheer natural beauty of the area and house was my counselor Nicole!!! I’ve had decades of casual therapy- all of which she topped with practical and gentle guidance within the first two weeks of my month-long stay. I’m not even sure how they do it but the clinical staff helped me become a whole, laughing, and healthy person again after years of the darkness and numbing depression and anxiety had created. Thank you all for giving my life back. Jerod, the amazing artist and therapist -thank you for the life hacks, tolerance of my rambling in group and terrific quotes to live by. Even the clinical director was incredibly approachable, action oriented and supportive. When I was upset and scared she really listened. She actually even attended a counseling session to make sure all my needs were addressed and I was comfortable. A very rare practice for someone at her level :). She matched me with the best therapist in the world!!! Thank you Ashley :)
I loved the neurofeedback sessions. Although logistics took awhile to work out, I was able to get additional sessions for private pay. The BrainPaint therapy accelerated my healing so much! Charlene- another lifesaver. So kind and patient with her explanations so you really understand what’s going on. Hope Elevation works in more sessions. Once a week is certainly not enough.
My shared room (awesome roommate, carefully selected and could be switched if there was a problem) was meticulously cleaned daily by Maria the wonder cleaner. She keeps the house spic and span! No worries in the cleanliness department except the laundry room sometimes gets a buildup of stinky not sure what? But a very minor issue.
Yes this is a long review- I tried to answer questions I would have had, give fair balance and credit where it is certainly due. Now if The rest of the country could catch up to this level of great mental health care, so many tragedies could be averted….. Thank you Elevation, and prospective clients- I wish I could go back every year for a total wellness tune up! Trust this place!

I love this place, the staff are very compassionate and intelligent. The food is amazing and healthy but delicious! The program is a dual diagnosis that helps with coping skills, relapse prevention, and understanding the underlying issue of the disease of addiction (etc). The outings are fun and no additional cost! Put your recovery first, take a crack at Elevation Behavioral Health!

Elevation Behavioral Health has helped me so much in so many ways. While being here I learned so many things other than being sober. I have learned how to love myself and be kind to myself. If it weren’t for the amazing staff I would not be where I am today. I am very thankful for everyone here. The staff is incredible, cares about you, and really listens. EBH is just overall an amazing beautiful place. I would recommend this place to any family members or friends. The two houses are absolutely Beautiful and full of positive good vibes.
Thank you to Priya, Jade, Ashley, Blake, Hannah, and everyone else here. I honestly could not be who I am now without all of them!

I just returned home from a 30 day stay @ Elevation BH, and cannot say enough good things about my experience, or name the many people who contributed. This was unfortunately not my first go around in inpatient treatment but, I can honestly say it was the absolute best. I left feeling more at peace and better prepared than any other experience. I was treated with respect, professionalism, and a sincere sense of caring for my well being and recovery from administration, therapists, techs, even the chefs. I found the therapists uniquely qualified and committed to helping me identify and address those missing pieces that have prevented my lasting recovery in the past. The accommodations were clean and comfortable, with a relaxed atmosphere. The food was amazing, with an openness to accommodating dietary preferences among clients. I was honestly most impressed by the quality of therapy, skills, and tools delivered to support my recovery. I’m not one to easily make referrals or recommendations but, have no hesitation for Elevations if you are truly interested in getting and staying clean/sober.

Great experience, great treatment center. Very nice facility, luxury mansion. I’d highly recommend it.

Elevations was a great place for me to begin my sobriety. They handled every issue professionally and met all my needs. I would recommend it to anyone serious about getting help. I would like to thank Bobby Kane for getting me right in and situated.
Abigail M.
When looking at residential treatment centers, I worried that I would land myself in treatment in a place that only cared about money and would neglect my issues. Luck and Bobby Kane brought me to Elevation Behavioral Health, which I can hands down say saved my life. The staff took amazing care to make my stay as comfortable as possible, and put up with my hard nights and picky behaviors with incredible grace. I have been out for over a month now, and I find myself missing every aspect of the place – because it did not feel clinical, I did not feel like I was lesser than, I felt very at home and comfortable letting my guard down enough to heal. Although I miss it, I know I do not have to go back because I was provided with (and encouraged to use) a variety of tools that help me in every aspect of my life.
I was not paid or encouraged by the facility to write this review, I can honestly recommend it to any person who needs some extra help. As each reviewer before me has said, this is not any ordinary place, it’s a program above all else.

I recently completed treatment at Elevations for addiction. I have in the past been to two other treatment centers in Malibu so this was not my first treatment experience. However, with the life skills I learned working with the team of therapists at Elevations I am confident it will be my last. What sets Elevations apart from the many treatment facilities in Malibu? In my opinion, many things. Elevations is situated away from the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles and even the heart of Malibu. Its peace and relative seclusion allowed for me to focus on myself and was very conducive to healing. I find it hard to paint a picture of how picturesque and calming is was walking out in the mornings to stare out over the infinity pool amongst pine trees down at the valley below. As nice as it was to start the day with this ritual, it was equally healing to sit around the fire pit at night under the stars. The house itself is very luxurious. A French chef prepares the meals and is as caring and concerned about the wellbeing of the clients as the therapists. Elevations is a dual diagnosis program and the staff is sympathetic and aware than addiction often goes hand in hand with depression and anxiety. I know it does for me. They have a medical doctor, a psychiatrist, and licensed therapists on staff to help clients succeed. I have spent many, many hours in therapy during my adult life and found my therapist, Dr. Sisk, one of the most empathic, and helpful clinicians I have experienced. In addition to one on one and group therapy, we were given the opportunity to spend a fair amount of time outdoors hiking, swimming or playing tennis. While these activities were optional, I believe the program promotes the idea that physical activity and nutrition go hand in hand with traditional therapy. Healthy mind, healthy body. I arrived at Elevations feeling sick and broken. Sick and tired of feeling sick and tired. I left feeling recharged and ready to get back to life.

The beautiful picturesque environment for recovery is exemplary for Elevation Behavioral Health, but I would like to share what type of experience to expect with their staff.
I’m a mom who has had to reach out to one of their staff, Bobby Kane numerous times in crisis situations for my son. I live over three thousand miles away and have had to call on Bobby, morning, day and night. As a mom who can’t be close by, I’ve had to trust and rely on the willingness to help my son… Bobby has well exceeded any expectation I could have ever hoped for. On very short notice… Bobby has found and provided transportation for my son to secure his safety and well-being. Bobby’s response to my cry for help at all hours is beyond the call of duty!
The relentlessness to secure the safety and well being of my son has been invaluable to me. We have to communicate via phone and just in a recent text from Bobby, quote “I believe in him 100% and will spend as much time as needed to help him get straightened out”. This type of response and care has allowed me to rest easy, that my son is in the BEST care possible.
If you’re looking for a facility that is going to provide this level of persistence and personal care…look no further, Elevation Behavioral Health is the facility for you. A special thank you to Bobby who has been nothing short of a guardian angel in assisting my son through the journey of recovery.

Your review helps others learn about great local businesses. My name is Randy K. I am writing a review about Elevations Treatment Facility in Agoura Hills Ca. This facility specializes in alcohol and drug rehabilitation. My recent stay at this facility provided a great start to my recovery. A top notch facility. From the great small groups and personalized treatment. When it’s time to relax they have a heated pool and Jacuzzi with a beautiful view from the infinity pool. I would recommend this facility to anyone who is seeking treatment for their drug or alcohol issues.

Definitely a solid place for recovery that I would recommend to anyone!

I had a great experience with Elevation. The staff are very friendly and empathetic. I didn’t feel looked down upon while I was staying there. Alicia made my admission feel very smooth and easy. Ian was also great to work with. Overall the staff made you feel calm and at ease

When I first arrived at Elevations I was a mess with depression, anxiety and suicidal ideations. I was scared not knowing what to expect. I was going to stay away from my family for 30 days. But the therapist and staff made me feel welcomed right away and made my fears fade away. I stayed at the Kanan house with 5 star accommodations. I did not go into treatment with the exactions of making friends but I ended up making meaningful friendships that will last beyond treatment. The staff at the Kanan house were nothing short of amazing. They were helpful in every way possible. I stayed at Elevations for 3 months and it was the best investment in my mental health that I could have possibly given myself. I would recommend this place a thousand times over.
Erica L.
The therapist and staff were very helpful being there and helping us work through our issues. They were funny but at the same time took care of us. I really enjoyed being there and being able to focus on my problems and NOT being ridiculed for what I have been through! Thank you Elevations for everything!

Elevations residential mental health treatment is a great option. Look no further if you want to receive some of the best residential mental health care available in the most beautiful setting. Insurance and private pay only. I received residential, partial hospitalization and outpatient at Elevations over a period of almost three months. Outpatient isn’t as structured and I would really only use it if you live in California which is why four stars. That and it is extremely expensive. Otherwise, it has been the best three month investment in my mental health ever. Dr. Chaudhri cares deeply about the programs and getting things right. The dedicated technicians make sure that you are always safe and your needs are met. The therapists are dedicated and exceptional in their treatment of complex mental health diagnoses (BiPolar, depression, PTSD, OCD, anxiety.) The services I received and I encourage people to get are: EMDR, Nuerofeedback, massage, life coaching, nutrition consultation, meditation, acupuncture, and yoga. They are add ons but insist on them. The journey is hard work but being in such a beautiful place with highly qualified and compassionate people makes it easier. I know no matter what I may need in the future Elevation Behavioral Health will be there. Thank you Elevations for changing my life. I am forever grateful.
Shoshana W.
An incredible holistic center for healing. The caring and qualified staff team, along with the warm and inviting atmosphere; make Elevations a safe haven to recover and build foundations towards a better life. Thank you Elevations Team for helping me get my life back.
Madison M.
This place was completely transformative for me. Their emdr, neurofeedback, groups and holistic opportunities were key and effective. I came in with the desire to be able to live a functional life, and left feeling way better than I knew possible. The techs at their php house were always there to support and keep us feeling supported and safe. Soraya and Jeremy and all the rest played a major role in keeping things moving positively for me. The rest of the techs were incredible but needed to give those two the extra credit they deserve. Also my individual therapist Ian was really special, 10/10. If you’re really looking to get better, this place will provide that for you. Don’t be afraid to be assertive with your needs, they will always be there to tend to you. Thanks Elevation!
