WE ARE HERE FOR YOU
Take the first step towards healing.
All incoming Elevation Behavioral Health clients get a comprehensive diagnostic assessment as part of the intake process. At that time, we will learn more about you and how to best support you in managing bipolar disorder and any other diagnoses or concerns you might have. The staff members at Elevation Behavioral Health are trauma-informed, and we are here to give you the customized, in-control experience that you may not have been able to find in other mental health treatment spaces.
Those coming from PA will usually start with our primary mental health or dual-diagnosis residential inpatient programs. If you need help arranging for time off of work or navigating resources like FMLA to attend inpatient treatment, our team can help.
The primary mental health residential program at Elevation Behavioral Health focuses on treating mental health concerns without co-occurring substance abuse, including any type of bipolar disorder. Residential inpatient programs can be highly beneficial because they allow you to focus on healing and symptom management in a supportive environment with staff members who truly understand your condition. As an inpatient client at Elevation Behavioral Health, you’ll have distance from daily life triggers, and healing work will be your primary responsibility.
Our bipolar disorder treatment center is versed in managing bipolar disorder symptoms successfully, and we have specialists who use the most up-to-date treatments for the condition. Our staff members will work with you to create a personalized treatment plan. Your treatment plan may include a combination of approaches, including but not limited to:
Residential clients get to live on-site at our luxury treatment center for the duration of their program. It’s important to us that clients coming from PA feel at home while in treatment at Elevation Behavioral Health. While you may imagine a hospital-like setting when you think of inpatient treatment, our residential treatment center is anything but that. We offer luxury housing with light, bright, and spacious rooms, meals prepared by an executive chef, indoor and outdoor spaces, a gym, a pool, a spa, and other amenities.
What if you live with both bipolar disorder and co-occurring substance abuse? Research shows that 56 percent of people with bipolar disorder have a substance use disorder at some point in their life. With over half of those with bipolar disorder experiencing substance abuse, it’s essential that individuals are able to get help for both. We offer dual-diagnosis treatment for clients looking for bipolar treatment centers near Pennsylvania who also experience substance abuse. In research, dual-diagnosis or integrated treatment for mental health and addiction is linked to lowered rates of substance use, higher employment rates, improved quality of life, and better symptom management in both disorders.
Similarly, if you live with bipolar disorder and another non-substance-related mental health condition, our team will help. Mental health is complex, and it is very common to live with more than one condition or concern benefiting from treatment. For example, bipolar disorder may co-occur with an anxiety disorder, trauma, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), or another condition. We work with all of these concerns and more.
Aftercare planning will help you maintain the progress you make while in treatment while continuing to set and meet new goals that support your overall well-being. Ideally, we recommend that clients follow a 90-day process, where they start with inpatient treatment and step down to an outpatient treatment program through our center.
At Elevation Behavioral Health, we offer both in-person outpatient programs and a virtual mental health outpatient program. Clients attending virtual outpatient treatment will connect for virtual (video chat) sessions, providing flexibility and the ability to continue getting support from anywhere with a reliable internet connection.
Although following inpatient care with one of our outpatient programs is preferred for continuity, we’ll help you plan for the next steps in your journey and will check in with you after treatment, even if you cannot continue care with us.
Our team of experts is here to help you.

Managing bipolar disorder is 100% possible, but appropriate treatment is vital. Elevation Behavioral Health treats all types of bipolar disorder, which include:
Bipolar I disorder is marked by manic (not hypomanic) episodes lasting for at least one week with alternating episodes of depression. While people with Bipolar I can experience hypomania, you must have had at least one full-blown manic episode to meet the criteria for the disorder.
Bipolar II is marked by alternating periods of hypomania (a less severe form of mania) that alternate with periods of depression.
Also called “cyclothymic disorder,” cyclothymia is marked by recurring symptoms of hypomania and depression that either do not get intense enough or do not last long enough to qualify an individual for another type of bipolar disorder.
