We can help
Anxiety disorders are the most widespread type of mental health condition, both in Pennsylvania and across the United States. According to statistics from the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), 39.8 percent of adults in Pennsylvania experienced symptoms of anxiety or depression in 2021. Unfortunately, 1,710,371 Pennsylvania residents lived in a community that did not have a sufficient number of mental health professionals at the time they were surveyed, and out of the 598,000 adults in Pennsylvania who didn’t receive needed mental health care, 32.7 percent did not do so due to treatment costs.
Finding anxiety treatment centers near Pennsylvania that accept your insurance can help you bridge the gap, and that’s where we come in. Elevation Behavioral Health takes most forms of insurance, including Pennsylvania-based healthcare plans. While we are in California, we pay for transportation so that out-of-state clients can get to and from our facility.
Please call Elevation Behavioral Health to verify your insurance coverage today. You are also welcome to contact us online or fill out the insurance verification form on our website (found under the admissions tab).
WE ARE HERE FOR YOU
Take the first step towards healing.
Any form of anxiety disorder can be draining to live with. Most of our Pennsylvania-based clients start treatment with one of our inpatient programs, whether that is our primary mental health or dual-diagnosis residential program. It can be important to have distance from daily life triggers, responsibilities, and patterns as you work on healing and getting to where you want to be with your emotional or psychological health. With that in mind, here are our program types and a little bit about how our anxiety treatment center near Pennsylvania can help you both in inpatient treatment and throughout your recovery journey.
Our primary mental health residential treatment program is designed for clients living with a mental health disorder, like anxiety, who do not experience co-occurring substance abuse. In residential mental health treatment at Elevation Behavioral Health, you’ll follow an intensive, transformational daily schedule of therapy and other activities. Our primary mental health residential inpatient program for anxiety disorders treatment uses the most up-to-date and effective treatments for anxiety disorders. Your treatment plan may include any combination of the following.
The living spaces at Elevation Behavioral Health are nothing like the typical hospital-like environment you might picture when you think about traditional inpatient mental health treatment. Instead, our inpatient center provides luxury room and board to help clients enjoy their stay and feel at home. This can be particularly crucial for clients looking for anxiety treatment centers near Pennsylvania who may be traveling to our center from a distance. Our light and bright facility has comfortable rooms, meals prepared by our executive chef, fitness equipment, a pool, and other client amenities.
Our dual-diagnosis inpatient treatment program is much like our primary mental health residential program in the sense that you’ll live on-site and will follow an all-day, immersive treatment schedule. However, it also provides treatment for co-occurring substance abuse rather than addressing anxiety as a standalone disorder.
Living with an anxiety disorder can increase the likelihood that you will experience substance addiction. For many people with an anxiety disorder, self-medication feels like an escape or a necessity for getting through the day, but it doesn’t have to be that way. Getting integrated or dual-diagnosis treatment is linked to better treatment outcomes, such as improved quality of life, for those with both a substance use disorder and another mental health condition.
Similarly, if you have an additional mental health concern that is not related to substance abuse, like past trauma or depressive disorders, our team can help. It is very common to live with multiple conditions, as mental health is complex, and some disorders or experiences can put you at a greater risk of others. No matter what, we believe in your ability to heal.
In addition to our residential inpatient programs for mental health and dual-diagnosis disorders, we offer multiple types of outpatient treatment programs for continued care. This includes our in-person outpatient program and our virtual mental health outpatient program, which may be suitable for Pennsylvania residents who have completed one of our inpatient programs. Generally speaking, we recommend a 90-day journey of inpatient care followed by outpatient services at our center.
Whether you intend to continue care with us or will be unable to do so, Elevation Behavioral Health will help you make an aftercare plan to help you maintain and keep adding to the profound positive changes you’ve made while in treatment.
Our team of experts is here to help you.
What We Treat
Elevation Behavioral Health provides comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for incoming clients. This allows us to get to know you better and work with you to create a personalized treatment plan. We work with all types and severity levels of anxiety disorders, including:
Generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) is characterized by excessive, disproportionate worry regarding multiple parts of everyday life. For example, work, school, health, getting to appointments, household chores, and other daily tasks. You might experience anxiety symptoms like racing thoughts, restlessness, trouble concentrating, irritability, muscle tension, and difficulty falling or staying asleep.
People with social anxiety disorder experience anxiety symptoms due to social situations. Examples of social situations that could cause symptoms for someone with social anxiety disorder include public speaking, making new friends, talking on the phone, or any other circumstances where you are around others. These situations may cause racing thoughts, rumination, severe overwhelm, sweating, shaking, shortness of breath, isolation, and trouble falling or staying asleep.
Specific phobia refers to any type of phobia you might have that is not better diagnosed as a different type of anxiety disorder (e.g., social anxiety). Phobias differ from passing fears and can impact your life severely.
Individuals living with panic disorder endure recurring panic attacks and persistent fear related to the possibility of future attacks. Panic attacks can be scary and disruptive, often involving symptoms such as choking sensations, sweating, trembling or shaking, feeling dizzy, lightheaded, or faint, nausea, fear of dying, shortness of breath, and derealization or depersonalization.
Agoraphobia is characterized by the fear and avoidance of places or situations that could lead to feelings of helplessness, embarrassment, or being trapped. For example, you might fear crowds, standing in line, or places that are unfamiliar to you.
